Chantel the Machinist
Meet Chantel the Machinist — a rider, fabricator, and true force in the motorcycle community. Known for her passion for the open road and precision craftsmanship, Chantel doesn’t just ride — she builds. I first met Chantel at Born Free 2021 in Southern California, where she showed up with a broken ankle. While her friends insisted, she find another way home, Chantel had other plans. She rode — six and a half hours — back to Arizona. That moment alone speaks to her grit, but her story doesn’t stop there.
By day, Chantel is a skilled machinist at RPM Steering, crafting precision suspension parts for Jeeps. By night, she’s a passionate rider and builder, blending her technical expertise with an eye for design. Her ability to merge form and function is evident in her project: her transformed 2022 Harley – Davidson Road Glide.
The Build: From Street Glide to Road Glide
After an accident, Chantel didn’t just replace parts—she completely reimagined her bike. What started as a 2022 Harley Street Glide has now evolved into a 2022 Harley Road Glide, showcasing her unique “Blackout” concept. With a flawless custom paint job and meticulous attention to detail, this build demands attention.
From fit to finish, this bike is a showstopper. Every detail is purposeful, a reflection of Chantel’s precision-driven mindset as a machinist. The sleek lines, bold stance, and high-quality components come together to create a bike that isn’t just built to ride—it’s built toturn heads.
A True Road Warrior
Chantel is a familiar face at major motorcycle events, always bringing her energy, enthusiasm, and incredible build to the scene. Whether she’s test-riding the latest gear from Simpson Helmets and HOGWORKS, or sharing her journey on social media, she continues to inspire the riding community.
So, if you spot her and this stunning 2022 Road Glide at a show, take a closer look—you’ll see the craftsmanship of a true machinist at work. This is more than a motorcycle—it’s a statement.

Eric
Raised in Los Angeles, Eric now resides in Scottsdale Arizona. Having spent a lifetime building and collaborating on anything with motor, he always has his hands on a few projects. In 2016, a group of like-minded, motorcycle-obsessed friends founded Blacklist Moto. This collaboration led to Eleven 10 Moto Garage- a shared space in Phoenix where builders work, learn, and push their craft forward. Eric’s love for fast, elegant machines fuels his work, and two builds are on display here:
1966 Triumph TR6
A classic with soul, Eric’s ‘66 TR6 embodies vintage style with modern function. Stripped down and purpose-built, this bike reflects his deep appreciation for timeless design and raw, mechanical beauty. With a stance that demands attention and details that nod to the past, this Triumph isn’t just built to be admired—it’s built to be ridden.
Harley-Davidson Road King
I ride everything! In 2017 I bought my ex girlfriend a Triumph bobber, and she’s been hooked ever since. Last May, she returned the favor and commissioned the build of a 2021 Road King, with Johnny Ramirez, owner of Lifestyle Hogcustomz, in Los Angeles. My ex named her Cleopatra and she has now made her home in Scottsdale. Dominic Buono of Relentless Cycles has her and we have made this beauty truly worthy of her name.
Beyond bikes, his passion spills into other projects, including Gumby, his 1964 F100 Lowrider, and his 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera- both rocking OG paint, driven daily, and built with the same raw, road-ready energy that defines his motorcycles.
Eric puts it simply: “I will continue to create amazing machines.”.
(And if you get the chance, check out the ‘64 F100 with the TR6 loaded up and the Porsche 911- each a rolling testament to Eric’s dedication to the craft.)

Brad Bennett
Brad served as the leader of Arizona Bike Week since 2005. He was the visionary who first brought headliner concerts to Arizona Bike Week in 2006, transforming it from a local motorcycle event into a globally attended, major rally. His achievements in continuously growing and evolving ABW garnered tremendous respect and accolades from the event and motorcycle industries. Thanks to his background in architecture and exceptional business acumen, this event has become the biggest of its kind in the Southwestern region.
Brad was an avid rider from a very young age and loved long trips with his comrades. One of his final road trips was a Laconia journey with his Hamster brothers, which he mapped out meticulously to hit some of the country’s best riding stretches. Brad also enjoyed other forms of wind therapy, which included piloting his aircraft and pheasant hunting in the fields of his hometown in South Dakota.
This 1943 Harley-Davidson WLA represented one of Brad’s passion projects. He received it disassembled and enlisted Highway Choppers, a local shop, for its restoration.
Ride in peace, Brad. We’ll see you on the other side.

Joe
Joe has serious skin in the game. Coming from a racing background, he knows his way around the track—and the garage. His reputation on the circuit naturally led him to build bigger and better machines. After years spent in shops, helping the next generation understand what truly works, Joe became known for one thing: getting things done.
In 2024, at the legendary Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Joe unveiled his latest masterpiece, “Heavy Metal”—a stunning Panhead that was destined to steal the spotlight. And it did. “Heavy Metal” and Joe had an incredible year, earning top honors at shows and even landing in a widely distributed calendar. To cap off 2024, his bike graced the cover of the December issue of Easy Rider magazine.
Kicking off 2025 in style, Joe took home “Best of Show – Panhead” at the Mann Chopper Fest in Ventura, California. What’s next for Joe? That remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure:
Joe’s the man with the Pan.
For this year’s Motorcycle Builders Showcase, Joe is bringing not one, but two of his masterful creations. Get ready.

King Bado
King Bado arrived in Southern California from Italy in 2012, carrying little more than a bag of shirts and a dream. Determined to carve out his own path, he set his sights on motorcycles and the vibrant riding community, leading to the creation of Chopper Kings.
From the start, Bado broke the mold. He believed the era of “boots and fringe” had passed, ushering in a fresh new style for modern riders. Sporting snapback hats, shorts, and long socks, he redefined the SoCal biker look—infusing it with bold colors and individuality. His vision caught fire, inspiring a new generation of riders to express themselves beyond traditional black leather.
Chopper Kings quickly became a movement, introducing riding vests in colors beyond the standard black and brown, along with branded hoodies, reimagined beanies, and other trendsetting gear. But Bado wasn’t just changing fashion—he was changing the culture.
With an eye for innovation, he developed a marketing strategy that elevated Chopper Kings to the next level. A partnership with Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys gave him the support he needed to expand beyond California. Now, Chopper Kings can be spotted at top motorcycle shows across the U.S., from Arizona to the legendary streets of Sturgis.
Naturally, Bado’s creative vision extended to bike building. Bringing his signature style to custom motorcycles, he presents a stunning 2018 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob—a true embodiment of his passion and the ever-evolving spirit of the Chopper Kings movement.
King Bado isn’t just riding—he’s redefining the ride.

Nick
I first met Nick Morales a few years ago at a dealership in Sierra Vista, Arizona, just outside Fort Huachuca. A regular in the shop, his passion for riding was undeniable—his bikes were always immaculate, and he could often be found flipping through all parts and accessories catalog we had. After retiring, Nick relocated to Florida, but we stayed connected through social media. Over time, his posts became a reflection of his journey—stunning photos capturing the freedom of the open road and the experiences of a Retired Veteran.
Then, the real transformation began. Nick embarked on an ambitious build, sharing every step of the process. From the bare frame to the final paint, his dedication was evident. Every detail, every classic design element, speaks to his craftsmanship and passion.
This bike isn’t just a machine—it’s a story. A reflection of his journey, built with precision and heart.

Tucked away in the small town of Chino Valley, Arizona, lies a true hidden gem — Raw Customs. For nearly a decade, this shop has been turning out jaw-dropping custom bikes, backed by unmatched talent and experience.

Steve (Skeeter)
Known affectionately as “Skeeter,” Steve is the kind of builder you only hear about- dedicated, passionate, and deeply rooted in the craft. Balancing work, family, and his love for motorcycles, Skeeter poured his heart into this build, creating not just a bike but unforgettable moments, often with his son by his side in the shop.
Piece by piece, this chopper took shape, reflecting years of experience in the garage and on the road. A true product of the chopper scene, Skeeter’s latest creation is a “one-kick masterpiece”-a stunning machine with long, flowing lines and that unmistakable ’70s paint.
